Asian Travel Evening

Naxicap is a fast growing fund management company. Our client wanted to reunite its teams and welcome the new ones. Driven by a desire to travel, we prepared a memorable Parisian evening at the Mun around the Asian theme.

  • We wanted to give our guests the impression that they were flying to faraway lands. We sent them handmade origami invitations with an Asian theme that delighted them and increased their desire to participate in this chic and escapist evening. The guests only knew the address of the place without knowing what was hidden behind the façade.

  • On D-Day, the participants met at the Mun, avenue des Champs-Elysées. A mythical place to mark the spirits was essential. The view on the monuments of the capital from the rooftop of the restaurant subjugated the guests: Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc. The Mun room, with its Japanese decoration, made its guests travel. Illusionist, fortune teller and Asian DJ set gave rhythm to the evening that the participants still remember.

  • To make the effect of this evening last as long as possible, the participants were then given the photos, so many memories that they will keep for a long time. The guests were delighted to meet the teams from the international offices and loved the entertainment and theming designed especially for them.

Did you miss travelling?

Between curfews and confinements, it was complicated, if not impossible, to travel. Nexicap contacted us because they wanted to get away from the problems of the health crisis, and this, during a unique event. What better way to get away from it all than to travel to the other side of the world to relax? This is what we have organized for them.

Some time ago, the company, which specialises in the investment funds and financial entities sector, offered its employees a trip between Hong Kong, China and Singapore. It was a trip where the participants bonded and had the opportunity to experience Asian culture.

The latter wanted to experience the same sensations during a convivial evening, and most importantly: in person to discover and rediscover their colleagues from different branches of Europe. They asked us to create an event to celebrate the reunion of the teams, but also to welcome the new people who have recently joined Naxicap.

Fly me to the Mun

We imagined a return on this famous trip, around a theme on Asia which invites to the discovery. First of all, we chose to welcome Naxicap in an exceptional Parisian place. To create a stunning image, we chose the avenue known as the most beautiful in the world: the Champs-Élysées. On this avenue is the Mun.

A small name that is pronounced as a confidence, a mixture of chic and audacity.

Located on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the Mun invites you on a journey between a fantasized Asia and the vertigo of Paris, mixing scents and spices from this distant continent.

A breathtaking view of the roofs of Paris, the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré- Coeur and the Eiffel Tower, that's what the Mun offers. On the roof-top, it is a new Paris which is drawn, a journey which is proposed.
The terrace, it, does not fail to make sensation, by its impressive vegetation.

As for the room, it offers a chic and refined atmosphere, with velvet armchairs with floral fabrics, warm carpets, subdued lighting and alcoves, enough to transport our teams to the countries of the Orient.

Those who made you travel

In the kitchen, chefs Julien Chicoisne and Roland Puse, with the added bonus of Aurélien Fleury for the cocktails, have given depth to our Asian-inspired concept. On the menu, we travel through Asia: sushi, sashimi, barbecued yakitoris, but also tartars, carpaccios, breaded chicken and lobster salads. The address draws its reputation from a mixture between French know-how and Asian delicacy.

To this address, which combines chic and audacity, we added elements of Asian culture through different animations. We called on various professionals who were able to offer their talents for this evening:

Adrien Chauveau, Master in the art of prestidigitation, has built up a real know-how through artistic encounters and experiences, which allows him today to live fully from his passion and even to export his talent beyond the borders. With performances that he offers in 35 countries around the world, he has proposed a close-up magic show, that is to say directly in front of our participants. He is part of the New Magic trend that does not limit itself to simple card tricks. He conceives magic as a vector of communication and emotions.

Next, Thomas Pradeau, singer, composer and pianist, gave a touching and unusual performance. He made a name for himself in 2010 with a very promising first album, "A deux pas de ma rue", which contained the excellent singles "Le pays de Molière", "Audrey" and "On nous dit". He was also solicited by several artists as a songwriter and producer, and participated in the "Rencontres d'Astaffort" created by Francis Cabrel. He was able to present his musical talents through touching and catchy songs.

Finally, still in the musical field, we have brought Jeremy Samak, DJ and music producer in Paris, to this event. Jeremy is the founder of Freesome Club and the cofounder of Foundsystm, two structures that honour sound professionals. He proposed us a mix inspired by his travels, so that we in turn, during our event, could transport ourselves through his music.
